T206CollectorFirst one of the monkeys takes out a banana. Then he makes notches in the peel to identify for him which card he was grading. Next he peels the banana to reflect what grade the card got -- an unpeeled banana is a 10 and a fully peeled banana is a 1. After that, he will eat certain parts of the banana to record why he felt the card received the grade it did.
In all seriousness, to my knowledge, only Beckett has a grading system whereby they tell you and record why a card received a certain grade, i.e., 8 for corners, 3 for surface, 4 for edges, etc.
