ScottRobert is not being blasted for bringing up old news - the minority (myself and a few others) who "blasted" him as you call it, did so because of the way he is going about it.
I'm all for "public display" of dirty laundry in the hobby, if it helps improve things - I have even made suggestions to Robert to help him "display" his research in a more effective and productive manner. I honestly don't know what the best method is for getting this old information across to newer hobbyists without being unfair to people like James Spence who have already taken their licks for past mistakes.
