fkwThat uncut S81 silk sure is nice! I have 2 pictures of it in the San Francisco Dec. 13 1990 Goober's Auction Catalog (inside front cover & page 6). It had a preauction estimate of $225,000-$250,000, and it was said to be currently displayed in the HOF (insured for $225,000), and was thought to be a one of a kind piece with the notations along the sheets bottom indicating it may have been a "proof". I dont know what the final auction price was, but from your info it looks like the guy you talked with may have been the guy who put it in this auction. When you described it, I knew I had seen it before, and it took me a 1/2 hour to find it among my old auction catalogs. Frank
