with the dark spot on the Commiskey, it may have been adhered with a horse type glue (so I've been told) and harder to soak off. Usually, when I've been successful soaking things off its been because it was adhered with a flour or water based type of glue. Not entirely sure about that but someone told me that once...............(not to scare you away).....
