Default Card HOF thought

Posted By: Bruce Moreland

I'm afraid that you guys are going to get so political about this that you create a web page that's about some extremely stilted process that you've devised, some pompous phrasing, and a few scans of cards that are either vastly expensive or incredibly rare (and often ugly).

You need to agree on what kinds of cards you are trying to list, and select cards that you agree should be on the list, according to those criteria.

The HOF model has problems to start. The HOF is for "honoring" people. I can understand honoring a person, but honoring a card seems like a weird thing to do.

I am concerned that someone with a decent collection, some writing skills, and a scanner, could create their own list of interesting cards, which will be much better than a list chosen over a period of years by a committee.
