I've got a group of large individual named Columbus player photos from the 1909 season, about 10 of them i think. Would be happy to share with you if it would help you identify the players. Columus had a few guys that went on to the major league, Ross Helm of T206 fame being the most prominant, but there are others also.
Shoot me an email if interested and i'll get some scans and info together.
One thing to add - i've been collecting images of early Columbus Ga teams and players, and i've not seen one where COLUMBUS was not evident on the uniforms - Helm has a C on his T206, but i've not found photos with Columbus in those uniforms. I'm intrigued to know what uniforms your photo has.
