Eric BThe budget thread made a couple mentions of people who saw a card outside their budget. They said I "Gotta Have It" and presumable paid the price later. I would imagine nearly all of us have done the same thing, whether it's $100 at age 16 or $10,000 at age 60.
Any good stories or what you bought, how much higher it was over your budget or bank account, and how you managed afterward (spouse avoidance, selling other items, credit card).
