Thanks all. I thought I had one a few years ago at a National but it was his wife's ghost. Then I got one that looked really good on a PC but was declined as a forgery when I sent it to a TPA, so I returned it for a refund. Then I got what I thought was a faded one but was told it was likely a rubber stamp. In the interim between aborted acquisitions I've probably unsuccessfully bid into a dozen other examples. When I saw this one and saw it was a vintage (!) mailed (!!) PC (!!!) that I don't have (!!!!) and a Marciano signature that was bold, solid and unquestionable, I had to go for it. Probably overpaid, but WTF, you only live once.
