Thieves Market has been owned by the same family since sometime in the early 50s and has an excellent reputation. I live in the same area and there is stuff in my house that my mother purchased at their auctions in the late 50s and 60s. I bought three of the cards myself and they are fine. When I went into their shop before bidding to look at the cards, I asked about the feedback. The owner explained that a lot of the negatives were from buyers of low cost items who did things like send personal check payments, which they explicitly do not accept. As to this group of cards, they were part of an estate (yes, this time it's true). Thieves Market runs estate sales locally and buys entire estates. They are not baseball card people but this time they stumbled onto a great find! Wish it'd been me!
