I was in my car commuting to work, when the radio station broadcast that a plane had rammed into the World Trade Towers. I was thinking that radio DJs had way too much free time on their hands and shouldn't be making up news stories to catch people's attention.

Eventually, I realized the DJs were not making this up and I was in a state of shock that lasted the entire morning.
