Default PSA to SGC Crossover Question

Posted By: Jason L

that's what I'm here for!
just have a seat on the couch and I'll grab my notepad.

I understand what you mean about the potential differences in how strict the two companies grade cards, and to be honest, because of that, I have been more interested in buying postwar cards already in SGC holders for that very reason. I have more confidence they'll be graded right, and if I so choose to be an enterprising lad from time to time, perhaps a crack and submit to PSA will net me a bump...but that's not really what my collecting is all about, so I don't figure to be doing much of it.

You know, crazy thought, with everyone always saying they like how much better they like the look of the SGC slabs (presumably because of the black insert/background), why doesn't PSA offer a very easy competitive solution in offering colored inserts to their holders? You could even provide a color selection, or license the MLB logo and have logo'ed inserts...

I know what you're thinking...."That Jason L...he's an idea guy!"
