to sum up
He made them just for fun.
He encapsulated them just to educate the grading services.
He put them out for sale just to show off.
He consigned one just for the benefit of the auction house.
He sold/traded one, but he made restitution.
And he has sincerely apologized.
I think HE is the victim here.
