Steve M.I see an item on an upcoming auction. Let's say it's the T212 Obak Weaver on Huggins. Would I not dare email the auction house and ask it to ask the consiginor if he/she might be willing to withdraw the item and sell it to me outright for $3,000. Doesn't the auction house have an obligation to the consignor to pass along the offer? Keep in mind that the auction has not opened and no bids have been placed.
