I had difficulty making my list because as I was going through my collection, I would come across a card I really liked, but then instantly realized that it was of a Hall of Famer and thus not within the narrow confines of my chosen topic. By using a HOF/notorius/rare card filter I was trying to strip away some of the factors that normally steer the fancy of us collectors-- and thus recognize some truly classic and undersung vintage cards.
