I am not so sure about not letting people rant and rave in a thread, as long as it is mostly civil..."if you don't want to read it don't open it." I think the posters in that thread, you intervened in, contribute enough vintage info that we can go on a tangent sometimes without getting "deleted", but that is just my way of thinking and it could be wrong.
