runscott...very few people know this story. When MW was very young, before he became the "man about Madison" we all now know, he married a mail-order bride from lower Slovenia. This woman could never understand MW's brilliant wit (she had hearing problems and could barely even read lips with her one good eye) - she eventually left him for a plumber from a small town about 30 miles from Madison. The plumber was convinced that MW was making millions off of baseball cards and convinced his wife to demand some of the action. It's been a never-ending small-dollar game of blackmail ever since.
