I would consider the 1922 E120 American Caramel to be his "Rookie" card, but if someone really wanted to argue I would accept that the 1922 W573 strip card could be considered his "true" rookie also, especially since they used the same image on them and came out in the same year.

Though I think any of his single player Exhibits have a much better image of him, I consider none of them to be his "Rookie" cards, some of his Exhibits are a lot rarer than his other cards from the era though, and if your trying to put together a complete set of Hartnett cards, you may be waiting a few years to just see a couple of his Exhibit cards, much less find them for sale.
