George AltemoseIn the picture of Babe Ruth emerging from the Cleveland dugout, he is wearing a Yankee uniform with the interlocking "NY" on the chest. However, during his playing career, the Yankee uniform had pinstripes, but did not have the interlocking "NY." They did have it prior to 1920, before Ruth joined the team, and again after he left, but not during his tenure, from 1920 through 1934. He probably grabbed that one at Sports Authority on his way to the game.
