Ebay jumped quickly into a niche, we benefited, now it needs to improve; however, if it doesn't, I am confident that something else will take its place. Some of us have tunnel vision - the only thing we see that even approximates ebay is Yahoo auctions, which is laughable. Again, ebay is "online auctions" still in its infancy - it survives as a perpetual infant because it has no competition and no one has pushed them to protect the honest and punish the criminals.
