Weighing In on Altered Cards in Holders
Went to a local card show today. Very little vintage but whom I talked with didn't know anything about the scandal going on with PSA and the altered graded cards. One guy I talked with said that he didn't believe it could happen with PSA but maybe SGC or Beckett.
So, I believe there are enough people who are not educated about the alterations that the scandal will not affect value at all. Some people will feel they are getting a "bargain" because they will win auctions they normally wouldn't.
