It's jsut the evolution of eBay and more people having access to the internet. I've been on eBay since early 1997 and it was an absolutely wonderful place to find great deals on collectibles and also a great place to unload stuff. I used eBay to unload the dead inventory in gaming and comic book store.

The days of finding true rarities for a dime on the dolalr are pretty much gone. It takes some dumb luck and the item being listed in the wrong catagory with a lot of misspellings to get lost on eBay so one bids on it.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming --- WOW, What a ride!
