Default Clyde Beck game bat?

Guys.............I'm looking to get more info on whether this bat might have been issued to Clyde Beck of the Cubs. The bat is 35" long and weighs in at a hefty 37 oz. According to my research, the bat dates from the 1929-31 labeling period and he was the only position player playing at that time in the majors with that last name. The other option would be that it might have belonged to 'Boom Boom' Beck, a pitcher playing during this era, but not in the majors during these specific years. I aquired the bat from an antiques dealer in SW Michigan, less than a 2 hour drive from Chicago, so that got me thinking it might have been Clyde Beck's. I'm not sure what the #1 references. Any thoughts on anything? Anybody have access to non-HOF player bat records from H & B from this era? Thanks in advance for your help.............Matt
