In this hobby "old time collectors" can easily be in their fifties, since the hobby really was not underway until 1980 (ie. price guides).

And the old time collectors, as well as those before them, knew to hold on to t206 Wagners because they were way less available than most other cards.

It is easy for me to believe that some Wagners are out of circulation, and will stay that way in the foreseeable future.

You do not need to be a card manufacturer descendent to have a t206 Wagner provenance which easily withstands scrutiny.
