runscottChuck - I spent about a year watching ebay diligently, and checking prices on auctions, various web-sites, and also bought the 2002 SCD catl'g and the Beckett Vintage magazine. That's really the best way I know to get a feel for prices. You can't go strictly on a catalog value - for instance, check 1934 Goudey HOF'ers in the SCD catl'g, then check ebay prices.
