Those are very nice bikes.

I collect mostly bikes that were actually raced. I have a few that were made for the US national team from 83-86 plus some other pro team stuff. (Plus helmets and Jerseys and .....) Hey, it's all sports collectibles so it's really only the same as the cards right?

Of course there are a few "other" bikes that I couldn't pass up. I think around 70 of them. Seriously time to thin the herd.

1986 Team pursuit -Disqualified at the world championships for being too aerodynamic.


1984 Team time trial US Olympic team. Bronze medal. They built 12 and used 4 so about a 33% chance it was in the olympics.


Lots of replacement parts on both, the originals are impossible to find. I started in I think 98, and I've never seen an original 80's national team wheel for sale. And only a couple dating from the 90's. After 2000 they used normal parts.
