I click the paypal link and let it do it's thing. I had my paypal account connected to a savings account but I kept a minimal amount of funds in the paypal account. When it was time to pay there would be a few days lapse between the time I submitted payment and the time payment would be processed. I typically wouldn't read the fine print trying to redirect me to another paypal account.
