The internet wasn't invented. It was always there. Al Gore simply discovered it. Too bad he wasn't smart enough to teach Floridians how to count. But Bush was against education.

Do your homework, well travelled, learned colleague. The lumber industry with all of the media inspired clear cutting and destruction of old growth forests hype, has not had a sufficiently negative impact on the stand of trees in our land as has the positive impact of our brave forest firemen in curtailing the spread of these natural destructive (and creative) infernos. You see? 150 years ago we couldn't stop a forest fire. They all were left to burn out. Now we deliberately burn selective forests to optimize their health.

We have more trees now than ever before. And our forests are managed. There is more wisdom here than meets the eye of a casual observer. Or maybe Im wrong.
