First off yes, this is the same card posted a few days ago in pickups - and no - this card is
no longer a BVG 5. It had dust trapped in the holder that was making it look like there was print snow over Roberto's face when there wasn't any...
My question concerns what appears to be a light bit of edge chipping on the upper border towards the right of this card, right about at the "l" in the "Lasts Longer" Esquire sign. See the scans. Would this imperfection bother you all on an "Excellent" card? For some reason now that I have it out of the slab (yeah, yeah...) this little nick is all I can look at. Technically I suppose it could even be considered a part of the rough cut; this card does have a mild one on that border.
Would this bother you, or am I just nuts and need to put my OCD on the shelf for a while? It should be said that the card is extremly clean, bright, and nearly perfectly centered otherwise and as you might imagine, was not particularly cheap. Would appreciate any opinions...thanks.
