Now Here This Charlie:

1. put a SPACE btween your last word and the smiley face.

2. hit":"
3.hit")"
(that doesn't mean hit the quotation marks, just the colon and the close parentheses)
4. scroll down below the box, and click on "formatted signature."
5. A new, smaller box will appear below your message box. below that is the "respond," which you're now ready to click on. YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR SMILEY FACE TILL YOU RETURN TO INDEX AND GO BACK TO YOUR RESPONSE>

Cry face is the same , but with the other parenthesis.
