OT but for years there has been a pumpkinfest in Cooperstown in September featuring weigh-in of giant pumpkins, a regatta where they carve out the pumpkins and make boats out of them, and other activities. Winning pumpkin is usually about 1600 lbs. Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce, citing the expense, recently announced they are not doing the pumpkinfest anymore. Ray, the pumpkin in your picture looks competitive.
