I'm sure some others with more knowledge can chime in on toughies, but there are a good number of deceased players from this set already. I won't catch them all, but looking at a checklist, these are guys I know have died: Howser, G. Carter, B. Diaz, D Smith, F Williams, D Moore, Boros, C Brown, T Phillips, S Anderson, Ruhle, Mahler, B Forsch, Fregosi, Welch, J Niekro, D Williams, Puckett, D Henderson, Bamburger, D. Lowry, Mauch, Gwynn, F Wills, Cerutti, Clutterbuck, Weaver, Pastore, Uribe, A Lopez, Scurry, Porter, Bergman, Quisenberry, Show, Flanagan & Andujar.

Ricky Wright is probably the #1 tough to impossible card for this set. For whatever reason, he is unwilling to sign that card and he seems to be harder than average to get in general for a common player.

Donnie Moore and Bo Diaz both died within a couple years after their appearances in the set.
