Let's say this dates from a couple years after '56...1958. Virgil Trucks was a Yankee in '58, as was McDougald. Coleman retired the previous season, but was serving as Personnel Director for the team in '58.

I feel kind of bad if I initially got this wrong. While I had the pleasure of meeting Mize, Virgil was my friend.

All you have to do is picture Virgil's classic '53T in your mind for comparison!
