This is a great question! I think you can look at it from a few different POVs. If you're looking at the players who may have had the greatest impact on the game and who non-collectors would appreciate, then I'd go with:

If you're looking at the toughest/most desirable cards to collectors, I'd go with:
1935 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski
