DO NOT try to take them out by peeling them off...they might be pasted in and pop off or they might pull paper and/or crease. They need to be soaked page by page and properly dried in between book pages(old phone books work great with additional weight on top) and rotated to new dry pages as they dry to prevent warping.

Based on the example they might come out fine, if they have dark brown horse glue, you can forget it.
