Just curious though, the cards I have say dist N.Y. or VA which I assume were factories in New York and Virginia. Were rare backs such as the Broad Leaf mainly distributed in a certain area of the country?
T206 rare backs are found through out the country. This is primarily due to people moving from their original residences with their collections.
So nowadays, it is difficult to pinpoint the original source of most rare backs.

However, we are certain that DRUM cards were distributed in the St Louis area.

Factory #30 (NY) cards were mainly distributed in New York and the New England states.

Factory #25 (VA) cards were mainly distributed in states throughout the South and Pennsylvania.

There was a large find of red HINDU cards from Texas in recent years (although this is not necessarily indicative of their original distribution).

Factory #3 (LA) cards COUPON (T213-2 & T213-3) and Factory #8 (LA) cards VICTORY (T214) were distributed in packs of COUPON cigarettes
manufactured in Louisiana.
The 1910 COUPON (T213-1) cards were distributed in cartons containing 100's of cigarettes.
