Hey all.

First of all let me start by saying that I am doing this deal via third party to help out a fellow collector from down in IL. This is a large group of sports cards and collectibles that my cousin had accumulated in southern IL. He recently took a job for 2 years in Ohio and asked if I could help him find a buyer so I am posting this. There are over 500 sets, thousands of pre 1975 vintage with lots of stars (mostly lower grade), hundreds of signed cards, baseball from AS games, WS etc., bobbles, and dozens of wax and pack boxes. He is an auction buyer and accumulated tools, sports items, Scaffolding etc, buiklding materials, collectibles, books, etc. He took the job rather quickly and asked if I could help find an interested party. Most of the sets start at 1980 and go into the 2000s. He is supposed to forward me a list later as well as mail me the vintage stuff. The bulk of this deal is located at my brother's house and stored in one of his garages or buildings. He said there is an additional 100,000 or so cards or more (estimate) that has stars as well as commons. I do not have details of yet, but will post when I do. He wants this stuff gone and I have no interest in bulk or sets anymore. I will post or add info later as I get it and will take offers on his behalf. If a deal is made, then buyer will need to arrange for pick up in the Mt. Vernon IL area. Also a conventional pickup will not handle it. Need a small enclosed trailer or UHaul. He also will be willing to ship freight if buyer needs it and pays for it. Funds can be sent to either him or myself. If you want to send pay pal it needs to come to me.
