Joe D.those are all very cool cards... but they are not rookies in my eyes.
When a player goes to the major leagues for the first time - he is considered a rookie. It does not matter that he got paid for three years or so in the minor leagues.... the announcers, the general public, his teammates, etc. will call him a 'rookie' becuase it is his first year in the majors.
I treat cards the same way - first major league card is the rookie.
