Don't drop stuff in mailboxes. Take it into the post office and tell them to scan it right then. Most post offices do that anyway. You can thank your congressman for all the consolidations and the way that they have slowed the mail down in the past couple of years. Lots of stuff ends up sitting. If I send something to my next door neighbor it goes on a 140 mile round trip before it gets to him. Taking it in OR doing a carrier pickup assures that it gets right into the pipeline. (Wife is a postal worker)
