I would estimate the population of T206 collectors (and Ty Cobb collectors) are in the 1000's.....worldwide.
Many of them are old "dinosaurs" (like me) that have collected these T-cards for 4 (or more) decades. And,
have no interest in having them Graded.
I have very few graded cards in my various sets (1887-1987). However, I do get Sports cards graded for the
purposes of selling them. All that said, I'll apply my old axiom here...."we live in a 1/3 rd world"....therefore, if
1400 red Cobb's are Graded. Then, I speculate that there are another 2800 that are ungraded.
And, I don't think the converse (1400 graded while only 700 are ungraded) is true.
Also, no one has come up with how many Red Cobb's are Graded by Beckett, GAI, etc., etc. ?
Anyhow, just offering my 2 Drachma's to this discussion.
