I believe it is the card that was owned by a fellow in Kentucky, who acquired it in the early 60s from an elderly New York collector who was selling his collection. This is the Wagner card that I was allowed to hold one night, barehanded, before it was placed in a slab. Bill Goodwin got in for one of his auctions about 15 years ago, give or take 2 or 3 years either way. Goodwin got it into an SGC holder, I think, when it was listed and sold. It was graded by PSA for the REA auction.

I reckon the Kentucky owner had it a bit over 40 years, ungraded, and with a very low profile. And this is among those cards that give me the feeling that there are a few more white border Wagner cards out there than some folks think.
