More in tune with events? As far as war is concerned, the U. States and Canada have certainly NOT always fought on the same side ("we always have"). Check your 18th and early 19th century history, my friend. Of course, if your point of which citizen is more knowledgable, maybe that's the United States side of you commenting rather than the Canadian.
