You bring up two very interesting points regarding the Joe Doyle cards (NAT"L and Printer's Mark version).
I cannot answer this, as I am just a collector who enjoys these cards, and loves to do research on them,
and sometimes will share this research with others.
Some "biggies" in the hobby would be better able to answer your questions regarding the impact on the
$$$$ value of these cards.
