CatI thought the glut of auctions was going to be good for buyers. Whatever the reason, folks have flocked to the auction houses to consign their items. I believed it was good for us buyers because of the quick and abundant supply of cards, but it doesn't appear to have dampened MatroNet's auction. At least all the cards I am interested in skyrocketed pretty fast and I suspect there will be heavy bidding on the last day, as well.
I have looked at these auctions very different from what I normally do. With the funds I have, I may look for bargains to upgrade some existing cards. Normally, I would focus on cards that I do not have in my collection, but some of those elusive cards I believe I will have to overpay for and why do that if I can upgrade some cards instead with bargain shopping.
