Hello all,
I recently acquired and scanned some great snapshots of the 1936 All Star game in Boston.
The sellers grandfather took the photos with a family friend and then sent them to his grandson in 1990. The seller also sent the letter the grandfather wrote when passing them down, explaining the photos and their subjects. I have since sent the letter back as that seemed far to personal to keep and the seller did want it after I offered.
The full list of subjects include Gehringer, Gehrig, Cronin, Grove, Dean, and Foxx as well as the umpires. Shots of the start of the game and the national league team were also included.
While his grandfather got most right, he didn't take any of Joe Dimaggio as he states and lists on the back.

Please enjoy and excuse my scan lines.
