Peter_SpaethYes, Hal, you may find it "fully" (I presume you meant "funny"), but a lot of people are opposed to the intentional alteration of a card in order to improve its condition, "get it past" the graders (that language of course presumes that if the graders knew they would not approve), and make more money. Whether or not it can be detected is not relevant to the ethical point -- are you saying if one could commit a crime with no possibility of being caught then it would be OK?
