Hi Scott,
The Armstrong is not mine, but I do have a Lavoia(Fayetteville) that has a black border. I agree that teams seem to have the same borders. Most of the Portrait's in the set have nice size gray borders, but most of the other players have little or no border. I will look at all of my Wilson and Fayetteville scans and see If they all have the black border. Be well Brian
