And you know for a fact that that extra 3% is going into food stamps?

Perhaps it will pay down the debt incurred by fighting a war with borrowed money.

Or maybe it will go towards the $750B bailout that now seems to be providing nice Christmas bonuses for those poor souls who will be hit by the tax increase.
