Default Acceptability of spider wrinkles on 1933 Goudey

Posted By: warshawlaw

I have a number of 1930's cards that are vg but look much nicer because of such wrinkles and I paid a lot less for them as a result. Still, don't expect near mint prices when you sell them off. They are still vg. Also, you can get these kinds of creases if you store your cards in screw downs; the differential pressure across the card can crease it. I found this out the hard way by messing up a nice Greenberg card.
