For me..if I'm buying a "wow" card that might even impress a non-baseball card collector I consider what their response might be when I showed it to them
1933 goudey Gehrig - "cool....do you have a Babe Ruth?"
1955 Topps Roberto Clemente " Neat...is it real rare?"
1951 bowman Mickey Mantle "This isn't the one I always see in stories"
1909 t2016 Walter Johnson - "who is he?"
Non t206 Honus Wagner - "Is that the really valuable one?"
I know....sometimes my cynical side comes out.
