Slight digression, but I just thought of a triple play possibility that probably has never occurred in the history of the game:

Bases loaded, nobody out, and the batter hits a ball that dies right in front of home plate. Catcher picks it up with his foot on home for one out; throws it to third for the second out; and the third baseman throws it to second for the third out.

In that scenario the triple play happens without the batter making an out himself.
